Blackhawk SERPA Level 3 Duty Holster

Great holster If you have to draw and then reholster the weapon is secured as soon as you drop it back into the holster.

Excellent retention, clamps tight on your duty belt so that is doesn't slide around and can be removed without sliding everything else off your duty belt. Allows quick acquisition of proper shooting grip in the holster and, once accustomed to it, comes out of the hoster effortlessly. The SERPA mechanism locks into the front of the trigger guard, so the Xiphos light (not great) is offset to allow this. It's the only drawback.

This holster wont work with any light except BH. The holster is way too tight on the duty belt so you arent able to adjust it. Dont know why they don't make one that works with other light manufacturers.

I actually had to alter mine just a little b/c the H&K USP 45 frame is slightly taller then a USP 40 is. Had to carve away two small rails that touched the bottom of the trigger guard and forced the gun to be way too tight in the holster. Once that was remove there were no other issues. I love the security of this holster. Its great that the gun is secure when you just place it back in the holster with out having to button a snap or close a hood. This holster also does allow for the H&K to be carried in the cocked position with the safety on (cocked and locked) or de-cock with no safety.
