Southwick Associates, company that specializes in fish and wildlife economics statistics, released the brands hunters and shooters purchased most in 2010.
According to an article found on Ammoland.com, Uncle Mike’s took the top spot for gun holster. The 238-page report included information compiled from nearly 42,000 Internet-based surveys, which were completed by hunters and target shooters.
The report detailed consumer behavior, such as what products and brands were purchased, where they were bought, the amount the customer spent and demographics of hunters and shooters broken down by each product category.
Uncle Mike’s has been in the business since 1947. More than 20 years ago, it pioneered the use of nylon in holsters. “We’ve looked to give hunters and shooters a shake, making accessories that hold their own and then some.”
